Last week ILoveBodyArt joined Mr Shiz down in Bristol to paint at the UK’s first SHRIIIMP event.

SHRIIIMP was lauched in 2005 and is the largest site on the internet for Graffiti-on-Girls, a niche hybrid form of bodyart that began in France many years ago where urban Graffiti writers painted their names on their willing girlfriends.
The artform, like Graffiti, has since spread worldwide and SHRIIIMP now has over 35,000 registered users with over 6000 user created/uploaded images online. However not all photos make the grade as SHRIIIMP actually rejects more pictures than they feature due to bad quality photos, poor artwork and extreme nudity, but this aspect has seemed to drop down as people now realise that all photos are vetted before going live and the site is atttracting contributions from more defined artists.
This was the first SHRIIIMP event in the UK and was a tester for a future event. Models were Trix, Ali Love and Kaylee from the Bristol based Dance troupe ‘The Bass Honeys‘ who were keen to be painted. In addition to Mr Shiz, 2RISE from Australia also painted and between them they painted another 15 or so partygoers and bar staff.
