Fredi Grieshaber is a 65-year-old woman and a self proclaimed hippie. In 2009 she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. Fredi is determined to live every day to the fullest. As part of that quest, Fredi will be fully bodypainted by artist Andy Golub in Times Square at on Friday, August 24th from 1:00-3:00PM at 44th Street and Broadway.
NYC street artist Andy Golub has painted hundreds of models in public, but for Golub, painting Fredi is a special experience. “The first time we worked together was in a photo studio. Fredi is nice, funny and free spirited, but underneath all that, she is an incredibly strong and determined person.”
Fredi comments, “I am going to have to have radiation treatments in a few weeks, so the more fun things I can do now the better it is for my spirit.”
