Massimo Calanchi is a Venezuelan bodyartist (born and living actually in Barinas) who has been working with bodyart for many years. He makes pieces by taking the model and painting with all his imagination and dreams. Massimo also teaches this tecnique to the University students and also to anybody who wants to learn a little about bodyart.
As well as painting he also is a model for bodyart works too, because as he says “Painting and being painted are unique experiences to enjoy what you do in art”.
Also he always said about his job: “I falling in love of my work…creating. And I falling in love of the body/canvas….painting!!”

Massimo Calanchi es un artista venezolano de la pintura corporal (nació y vive actualmente en Barinas) ha trabajando el bodyart como su oficio desde hace muchos años. Él toma el cuerpo del modelo y pinta todos sus sueños dentro de su gran e infinita imaginación. El enseña esta técnica a los estudiantes de las Universidades y también para cualquier persona que quiera aprender un poco acerca de la disciplina del bodyart.
Él también sirve de modelo para las obras de pintura corporal también, porque como él dice: … “Pintar y ser pintado son experiencias únicas para disfrutar de lo que haces en el arte”.
También él siempre dice acerca de su trabajo: ”Yo me enamoro de mi trabajo … creando. Y me enamoro del cuerpo….pintando!”
