
Anavir Padilla is 24 year old body artist from Caracas, Venezuela who first learned the technique of Body painting at ‘la Academia de Artes Visuales Chaplin de Caracas’, taking classes with the artist Ana Chachy Leon.

Anavir like to do work for events where the public is the protagonist and has participated in many cultural events in Caracas including ‘International Day of the Museum’ body painting outside the National Art Gallery in Caracas with IARTES (National Institute of Arts of the country), local art exhibition at Hatillarte Miranda state and other shows in Zoos and locations so that they are accessible to families and children.
Additionally Anavir runs workshops and private sessions for photography as well as bodypainting for advertising campiagns for national brands. Her current challenge is to create new designs and links to other creative work to achieve better finish and special effects.
The pictures below are from The Sixth World Meeting of Body Art, held in 2011 at the Teatro Teresa Carreño in Venezuela. These were created and designed by the excellent Venezuelan plastic artist Ana Chachy León assisted by Anavir and artists Carlos Intriago and Tatiana Rojas
